Timberwolves Salvage Season With Lobster Bowl Victory

The Cornwall Timberwolves salvaged a heart-breaking season with a 54-16 rout over the Summerside
Clippers.
All-star Running back Cody Keenan finished his final game as a Timberwolve with four rushing touchdowns. Fullback Dan Gallant had a rushing and receiving touchdown, and Defensive Tackle Alex Mutch had a couple of short rushing scores on offense.
Head Coach Neal Connaughton realized this would be many of his veteran players' last game with the club, and the message to his players going into the final game was simple.
"Let's finish what we started", said Connaughton.

Wildcats Triumph In Fourth-Straight Championship

The Souris Wildcats are becoming more and more familiar with winning championships, coming out on top in the P.E.I. Varsity Football League Potato Bowl Game 47-28 over the Charlottetown Privateers in Cornwall Sunday.

The Summerside Bantam Spartans claimed their first P.E.I. Bantam Football League Championship in a tight contest with the Charlottetown Bantam Privateers, 21-14 in Cornwall on Saturday.
Ty Wright earned the offensive player of the game award, scoring all three touchdowns for the Spartans.
Summerside took advantage of good field position in the first half, and the defence played a highly aggressive style, penetrating Charlottetown's backfield often.
