The Souris Wildcats used the terrible weather on Sunday to their advantage, winning 32-0 in a cold, rainy and exceptionally windy semi final playoff against the Summerside Clippers Sunday in Rollo Bay.
Max MacDonald rushed for two touchdowns, while Quarterback Alex Fitzpatrick rushed for a score and passed for another to Matthew Birt.
Jordan MacCormack had a single rushing touchdown to cap off the scoring for the Wildcats, who finished another season undefeated at home.
Head Coach Stephen MacPhee said his team is used to playing in bad conditions, and he's glad they showed up to play for him once again.
"The conditions weren't exactly ideal, but the offence moved the ball and the defence held its ground. That's all we can ask for and we're looking forward to the finals."
The Wildcats will seek their record fourth-straight Potato Bowl against the Charlottetown Privateers, who they had swept in the regular season series, next weekend in Cornwall.
